Iguanas need high levels of humidity (around 70%). Their native habitats (rainforest) have high humidity which keeps iguanas hydrated. If the level of humidity is too low, they can get dehydrated since iguanas aren’t really inclined to drink much water. This can lead to kidney disease and poor shedding.
